EPSolver – Crest Software

EPSolver is an add-on module for EPS that allows more advanced scheduling algorithms that the EPS levelling algorithm.

EPSolver uses a combination of optimization techniques (MILP and Genetic Algorithms) to either find a feasible schedule controlled by task and target priorities or an optimized schedule that can be guided via multiple objectives (e.g. maximize profit, maximize production, minimize travel distance, etc.)

The algorithm can consider resource availability, travel constraints, production targets, material flow restrictions, stockpile and dump capacities.

EPSolver can make use of CPLEX if a CPLEX license is available.
